The char blend is what distinguishes our Tennessee Whiskey from Bourbons. Jack insisted that each drop of our whiskey should be slowly forced through a carbon immersion with sugar syrup, a process that takes three to five days. The charcoal acts as a filter, removing impurities and bitterness, and blends the whiskey so that its natural flavor comes through. For Gentleman Jack, we introduced a second blending process after maturation, known as double blending, which aims to refine the whiskey into a subtly sophisticated drink. The result of this double blend is an exceptionally delicate, well balanced and refined Gentleman Jack whiskey.
